Artificial Intelligence

Welcome to Communities of Interest (COI), a initiative led by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Economic Development (OVPRIED). Within this initiative, there are several groups of cross disciplinary researchers and scholars with various common interests. The Community of Interest initiative enables these researchers with common interests to increase collaborations that will establish new research activities and incite funded research.

Our most recent Communities of Interest event focused on Artificial Intelligence. This event brought together cross-disciplinary researchers on Artificial Intelligence. 13 presenters discussed projects that focused on AI. Goals were to ignite shared interests, inspire new collaboration, and incite funded research. These Communities of Interests events serve as platforms for expanded approaches to research questions that further the University's commitment to Research for a Reason.
